How It Works - OAD Travel

Step one

Pick a Destination

OAD Travel allows users to choose from a roster of gastronomic destinations with curated dining itineraries featuring the top restaurants on the lists of Opinionated About Dining (OAD). Each trip package includes a guaranteed restaurant booking for a party of four people for each day of your selected trip dates, as well as accommodation in a premium room or suite at one of our select luxury hotel partners.

Step two

Select Trip Dates and Review

Upon selecting your desired trip dates, you will be presented with the specified dining itinerary for those dates, featuring a top restaurant each day of your trip. Please carefully review the dining itinerary, as the restaurants that are available may vary slightly by your selected trip dates. Note that the dining itinerary is a fixed package and includes a guaranteed booking for four people at every restaurant in the itinerary.

Step three

Pick a Hotel

For each destination, OAD Travel offers premium rooms and suites at select luxury hotel partners from which you can pick. Upon submission of your preferred choice of hotel and the number of hotel rooms you will need, OAD Travel will look into availability and prices, and a member of our customer service team will contact you with a quote for luxury accommodations, from which you can make your choice of room or suite type(s) (see Steps Four and Five below).

Step four

Enter your Details and Request a Quote

Enter your details as requested, along with any comments or special requests in the box provided. Please tell us, for example, if you would like to request a specific bed type, room category, or view for your hotel choice. After entering your details and clicking the “Request a Quote” button, your request will be submitted and customer service will contact you by email (normally by the next business day) with a quote including a summary of your selected trip and a slate of room offerings and prices from which you may choose.

Step five

Confirm your Room Choice(s)

After sending you the quote, we will hold your requested trip for a period of 24 hours to permit you to confirm your choice of room(s) by email reply before we offer the trip to other OAD Travel customers. Note that your trip request is not a confirmed booking until we receive your room choice confirmation email and payment under Step Six.

Step six

Payment

Upon receipt of your room choice confirmation email, OAD Travel will email to you a secure payment link through which you can enter your credit card information and make payment according to the payment terms applicable to your trip dates. Upon payment you will receive an email with a receipt of payment and a detailed summary of your confirmed trip booking. Note that credit card payments are subject to a 3% processing fee.
